RSVP settings
Residents should RSVP in the app. Encouraging residents to RSVP in the app is a best practice across Cobu communities.
Why we ask residents to RSVP in Cobu
RSVPs help keep residents active in the app and aware of what’s happening in the community. RSVP activity is also a strong sign that a community is gaining traction. As a general benchmark, events that receive 10 or more RSVPs are typically a healthy signal that residents are engaged and aware of what’s happening on property.
When residents RSVP, they receive reminders, attendance increases, and more people stay engaged with events and conversations.
Communities that consistently drive RSVPs typically see:
- Higher event turnout
- More activity in the app
- More positive reviews
- Stronger resident satisfaction
Even for open events, asking residents to RSVP helps keep the community active.
Viewing RSVPs
To see who is attending:
- Open Gatherings
- Select the event
- Click View RSVPs
You can see:
- Who is attending
- Who is interested
- Total count
This is helpful before the event to plan setup, food, or supplies.
Viewing past events and feedback
You can review previous events in Past Gatherings.
This allows you to:
- See attendance
- Read feedback (if submitted)
- Reuse past events
You can also duplicate past events to save time.
Posting updates to residents
You can post messages in the feed from the dashboard.
Most teams use this to:
- Share announcements or photos from previous events
- Share any important updates
Tips for using the dashboard
- Add events as early as possible
- Ask residents to RSVP in the app
- Check RSVPs before events
- Check the building chat from time to time to understand what themes/topics are important to your residents
You do not need to manage the dashboard every day.
